As I finished this third book in the series I noticed no reviews had been written for any of these books so I thought I'd write reviews so others might be tempted to give them a try. It really is a good series and I'm hoping the author will continue to write many more books about Derrick Dreadlow. If you just happened to click on this review and haven't seen the other two, please check out my review for all three books. As I've said, I love this series, I love the characters, I love the setting and I find the crimes they set out to solve very interesting. I highly recommend the series but please read them in order--you won't be disappointed. I can't wait for the next one!Product details

love the characters and story lines. as a kamaina, I'm enjoying history and scenes. have now completed all of this series and looking forward to more in this saga.
I must suggest that he retain an editor to clean up the numerous grammatical and spelling errors. I would love to be that person!
Great series, not so intense that it's hard to follow. Colorful, likeable characters that return in each book. Enjoying these books.
The Derrick Deadlow series unfolds in many interconnecting layers. Love this series.
This police procedural feature interesting characters who have room to grow and develop as the series progresses, especially Lt. Dreadlow, a NY city cop starting his life over in Hawaii. The first 2 I read were well-crafted, well-paced detective novels, good reads but nothing earth-shattering. I look forward to seeing how things go for these characters in forthcoming volumes of the series. LJC
I am loving this series!! I suggest you buy all four books at once, because there is one mystery that is passed from book to book and you will not be satisfied until you know the answer. The characters are well developed and the story lines well written and thought out. I'm about to start book four. I have read hundreds of books since I got my and this is the first series I have ever posted a review on. That's how much I like this series...On to the fourth now!
