This was my first Susan Mallery book many, many years ago, but it wasn’t my last!
Holly and Mistletoe is a part of the Hometown Heartbreakers series and was the first series book had ever read. I loved getting to know everyone in the Haynes Family. This story is about firefighter Jordan and how Holly and her cat, Mistletoe, take care of him after he saves their lives in a fire.
The story is sweet, romantic, and in typical Susan Mallery fashion, hot as heck!
I highly recommend reading the whole series! And all of Susan’s books!

Very entertaining story that only left one question unanswered, I'm sure just make your own conclusion to why. Animals are loving and very cautious. Really enjoyed this story.
It is a love story in the truest sense of the word, it is a story about forgiveness and redemption. I will never talk about the plot, but I promise you that when you read this story you will agree. It is the kind of story we dream about and a story that gives with honesty and spirit.
What a warm and loving Christmas story. Really great characters and Mistletoe was a great cat character. I would like this to be a series picking up with their first child and finding their half sister, etc. Love reading happily ever after stories.
I love Susan Mallery's books. The only reason I gave this one a 4 instead of a 5 is because Holly is a bit TOO naive in my opinion. With just every day living, i.e. TV, internet, etc.,I think she would have more knowledge of physical relationships than the story indicates.
This is a short novel by Susan Mallery that is part of a series. It doesn't compare to her more recent Fool's Gold series which are more polished and show more depth. However, if you're looking for a lazy Sunday read that doesn't require a lot of thought, then this book is good. Jordan is an injured firefighter. Holly is the damsel in distress. Mistletoe, in my opinion, steals the show. The story line is silly, but OK.
Surprises and love mixed! Action galore-the four brothers finally had their stories straight! Love conquers all in the final end.
This is the first book that I read in Ms. Mallery's Hometown Heroes Series and I loved it. Jordan is a hard headed stubborn man, who doesn't think that he could ever love, or be loved. He comes from a very dysfunctional home. He is also a very hot very good firefighter. It is doing his job that he meets Holly. Holly has her own inner demons to fight. They are quite the unlikely couple. I won't say more because who wants to spoil a story. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good story, and a great romance! Susan Mallery is an amazingly talented writer, and I have never been disappointed!
